Portraiture has always been a branch of Photography that has greatly interested me. I find it intriguing to capture not only the likeness of a subject, but also their personality, mood and the nuances of their Identity. My work above is a culmination of multiple series of projects I have produced in recent years. I have explored surrealism within portraiture, aiming to bend the very nature of what a portrait truly is. Fashion photography has always been a passion of mine, and the portraits above are the result of a recent collaboration with a fashion student. Within the series I have explored how the technical capabilities of a camera can influence and promote portraiture and fashion.
