I view the natural world with a very similar mindset to how I view Street based photographic practice. I see both as an endless opportunity for creativity. For a while now I have practised Photography in the natural world. Indeed, a project of mine conducted in the autumn of 2024 saw me compare and juxtapose living in a city and living in the countryside and the differences I perceive. Within this work I reflected on both the calm and tranquil nature that the natural world can provide , whilst also at times its overpowering forceful qualities. It is a part of the world that demands respect; this is a message I have aimed to convey within my practice.
